colours award 2005 - constellation of stars

finally updating my dear blog! hehe.. hmm.. actually am feeling quite disappointed right now.. was reallyyy hoping that a certain someone was online.. but sigh.. it just isn't fate. i'll prob never be able to talk to that person. ever. ah well, it's okie.

yesterday was the colours award.. =) it was so nice! love the performances. love the food. love the people. love everything about it. and feeling sad now that it's over. sigh. i feel weird though.. i am not even supposed to be there in the 1st place. lolx. since i'm not in syf and all.. but since angklung is performing.. there i was. felt so fortunate to be there. to be part of angklung ensemble. and i am really glad to have chosen to be a part of the angklung exco. thank you lord for your guidance and for the wisdom to choose things that i won't regret. =)

angklung performance was a little screwd yesterday.. lolx. ahmad played a wrong beat during zapin and everyone was a little confused. but we managed okay. let's hope nobody noticed it. haha.. but the 2nd song, 'bengawan solo' was horrible! apparently mr dzul, our dear conductor, forgot that the base kulintang is supposed to start 1st.. so he signalled the angklung peeps to play.. and no one played. haa.. he repeated the signalling again.. and no one played again. *dead silence* he repeated again and zheng liang played his 5. o_0 but me, jieying and xt did not continue with our 3. hoho.. so there it was, in the middle of silence, someone suddenly played a note. cons called it the disrupted silence.. haha.. okie, shall not rmbr it anymore. anw, some people still say that it's nice.. heehee.. so happie to hear that. =)

top of the list is of cos choir.. hehe.. they sang soo beautifully ytd.. the 2nd song dat is. the 1st one is i dunno wad language? x_X 2nd song happened to be 'leaving on a jet plane'. such a sweet song.. aaahh.. and they all are so blessed with such beautiful voice.. should have recorded it! *grins* oh btw, heard from my choir friend that they were actually considering to sing 'for the longest time'. argh!! my favourite song! almost would have the chance to hear it.. after adinia boasted so much abt it, really really wanted to hear the NJ choir sang it.. heex.. it was too bad. sigh. =( ah well, let's hope there'll be other chances.

sometimes i really wish i could sing well.. hurhur.. okie, let's not be greedy and make dat 'wish i could sing'. then i could entertain myself when i'm feeling sad and down.. haha.. i shall stop spouting nonsense.
