FREE at last.

WOOHOO! CTs are way over and now is enrichment week le. i see i haven't updated for quite some time. hehe.. busy MUGGING mah.. can't blame me.. haha. see i'm not a closet mugger! i'm a proud self-proclaimed mugger! LOL. =P

anw, i hope results will turn out to be pretty okay this time. i'm emotionally exhausted to keep getting all the shitty results. sigh. my all-time aim is always a DODO which i never achieve before. WHY! hmph. hope it'll be better this time. (:

went to tiger beer factory on monday morning. it was err.. unsatisfactory to a large extent. here's why:

1. the nicest teachers-in-charge in the whole wide world left me and hupkee in NJ. we came to atrium at around 9.55 cos the time table in the book says gather at 10. we're such early birds. (: anw, there was no one there! only got a whole big bunch of starbucks peeps. so we waited and waited until another 2 ppl show up (hupkee's friends) who are also gg for the tiger beer. so we rotted there until like 10.15 before deciding to call one of the teachers (which due to the goodness of my heart shall remain anonymous). and she happily tell us they're on the expressway to jurong already.

HOW SWEET! they din even bother to call us or what for not being there. they din take attendance. they din do head count. nothing. well, i know it's partly our fault.. cos by right apparently we're supposed to meet at 9.45 and we very blur-pok so we dunno. but i think teachers hold half the responsibility? at least it'll be nice to give the students one measly teeny weeny call? and no one bother abt the 4 of us. they even gave our places to other students. GREAT! (:
the 4 of us end up taking a cab down to the factory ourselves..

2. the trip wasn't as great as i tot it would be and my 10 bucks is so not worth it. the factory is so freaking hot and most of our time is spent listening to how they make the beer. well it's quite insightful but i'm more interested in how they market their products and how come it's so successful both locally and internationally. sigh. and the souvenir isn't very nice either. haha. okay this is out of the point.

3. the teachers. (AGAIN. lol.) one of them was lecturing us on the bus abt how unprofessional the tiger beer ppl are cos there are a lot of things we din manage to do. then still tell us cannot be like that when we grow up.. blah blah blah..

um hello? are you behaving professionally urself? you din show any care and concern for ur missing students! hmph. and when we reach NJ she kind of refuse to chop our cards by being so sarcastic abt our irresponsibility of being late. well yes we're irresponsible. but she is too. it's the responsibility of the teachers to account for her students yeah? and when she din even bother abt missing students AT ALL, she isn't exactly displaying a very responsible image. -.-" she needs a mirror man!
well anw, she did chop for us in the end. hee.. if not i'll file a complaint! >_<

so much yucki-ness on monday morning. archery in the afternoon is okay though. i simply love archery! (:

went for SPH excursion on tuesday morning. 100000000 better than tiger beer excursion! i love the trip! it's super insightful, interesting, fun, etc2.. (all the good vocab) and the guy who's giving the tour is really nice and sweet. he even gave us free file, super pretty notebook and newspapers. hahaha. so sweet of them! and i only pay 2 bucks for this excursion? so worth my money! (: and the best thing is that the print centre is full air-con. YAY-ness! no more constant sweating during tours. WEEEE!

okay i'm giving the impression that i'm very cheapo rite.. getting so excited over all the FREE goodies.. lol. =P

had archery again in the afternoon (it's a 2-part session). even better than the previous day! all shooting, no more lectures. haha. so fun!

and my group (me, hupkee and a guy which i forget the name already - chinese name very difficlt to rmbr) WON THE GROUP SHOOTING COMPETITION! big congrats to us! so happiee! haha. we managed a score of 240/270. (2nd highest grp at 231/270 and 3rd highest grp at 223/270) not bad at all. and there's even a time where we scored 85/90 for 1 set of shooting. cool! maybe we have hidden talents.. hmm.. =D

just for info, innermost circle (bullseye portion) is 10 points and it decreases by 1 point each for the following circles after that one. one shooter will shoot 3 arrows each time for a total of 3 sets. the total score of all 3 shooters is then added up to give 270 points.

well, so much for these 2 days' activities. more to come! hehe.. shall be updating abt the other days' activities asap. (:
