yesterday marked the end of my super nice cip at aviva open singapore 2006.
i think it's one of the BEST cip i've ever done in my life! so interesting to watch all the matches live in indoor stadium. the atmosphere at the stadium is sth i will not be able to feel if i watch it from home. but from tv is better la, cos got all the replays and stuff. lol. anw i simply love badminton so much! hehe..
actually since young i've always loved badminton. last time indo was quite pro at badminton then they always take all the matches live and my whole family will watch together in front of the tv. sigh. miss those days.. >_<
anw i FINALLY manage to take the long-awaited photos with the pro players! SOOOO happiieeee! =)
would have put a BIGGER smiley face if i can. lol.

btw got this tiny incident that i simply can't stop laughing about.
swati (siew mooi's classmate), was guarding the door of the VIP lounge, which only VIPs, organizers and corporate box people can enter. so she has to turn away people with no pass.
then came a man who wanted to enter. so swati politely asked "sorry sir, can i please see your pass?" then the man smiled smiled, zip open his jacket and showed her the pass. the man went in and the uncle behind him scold poor swati.
apparently the man is RONALD SUSILO. lol. so blur la the swati! she doesn't even know how susilo looks like. hahahaha. think she's SUPER embarrassed by the whole incident.
but susilo is sooo nicee and so sweettt! he smile so charming also.. aiihh.. *heart melted* oh well, hopefully one day i'll find a man like that somewhere along my life. lol.
i'll definitely volunteer again next year. hehe.. maybe next year i'll try my luck with boonsak ponsana, taufik hidayat, chen hong and mia audina. arghh, so excited already. haha. can't wait for aviva open 2007! =D

aiyaa, so sO SO SOO angry todayy!! >_<
started out with the aviva cip i was doing. really realllyyyy wanted to take photos with peter gade (denmark) who beat susilo ytd.
yes, so much for plucking courage to ask him to take photo with me.. he's gone already.
after his match, me and xueli ran to the players' food and beverage room (hoping maybe he'll get water since he'll be so thirsty) to try to find him.
not there.
then we cheonggg to male changing room (lol. how despo does this sound) but also not there! SIGH. oh well, what to do. =(
then we also wanted to take photo with chen hong (china) whom we expected to win against kenneth jefferson (denmark) but in the end lost. boooOOOOO. so decided not to disturb him.. later he angry how? lol. so we did not go down to find him..
but when we were about to leave the indoor stadium after the event is over, we happen to chance upon the players' bus! like WOW~ all the big players are all there!!!!! and chen hong is especially close to me.. like a few mere centimetres. but xueli's camera ran out of battery cos we were happily taking so many pictures at the information booth before we left. -.-"
ok, how retarded does this sound. and my tiny brain completely forgot that i have a camera phone with 1.0 mega pixel. how genious? can't stand myself!! feel like banging the wall la. arghhhhHHHHHHHH!
sheesh. i'll never forgive myself for this.. hmph. =(
then when i reached home, my sis asked if i wanna watch soccer match (england vs paraguay) at the toa payoh mcdonald. since i love england so much (my 2 fav teams being brazil and england) i decided to ignore my super tired body and drag myself to the mcdonald. reached there about 8.55? (match supposed to start at 9). then we chose a completely comfortable seat and order food. and waited. and waited. 9 o'clock came. nothing on tv.
9.05. nothing.
9.10. still nothing.
9.15. nothing still? hmm. maybe the match is delayed.
9.20. NOTHING! how come!! so my sis asked the guy there how come the match not playing. apparently the mcdonald showing the match is not the hdb hub one. it's the one at toa payoh lorong 1 near braddell there. ughhh. and i was hoping i could watch. sigh. but maybe i'm not as sad as my sis is cos she's a bigger world cup fan. lol.
anw, when we reached home and turned on the tv, nice and sweet channel 5 is showing an encore of the germany vs costa rica match. crapppPP. this type of thing where got encore one!! nice meh to watch a match you already knew the result?! like HUH.
why can't they show us the england vs paraguay match? and all the other matches?! quarter-finals at least? so CHEAPO la the mediacorp!!!! they don't want to pay to broadcast the matches. hmphhh. soo unhappy! not everyone rich enough to have SCV okay.. sigh. =(
if i were to go back to indo this hols, i would have been able to watch like ALL the matches. cos indo confirm take one. i'm missing so much! sigh. okay maybe not that much since i'm only interested in matches that concern brazil and england. haha.
anw i shall appreciate the fact that mediacorp is not broadcasting any matches except the semi-finals and finals cos then i will have more time to mug, muG, mUG and MUG! hip hip hoorayyyy! (:
on a brighter note, tomorrow is another long day of aviva cip. the long awaited FINALS. hehehe. maybe tmr is my chance to get photos with peter gade or chen hong? haha. shall continue hoping. =)
without hope, there will be no sense of achievement rite?

i was kinda depressed a few days ago and i don't even know why.. hmm. my sis say i'm suffering from angklung withdrawal syndrome. hahahaha. she's so funny. lol.
anw, been doing a lot of CIP lately.. hehe.. shall blog abt my experiences. (:
went to this childcare centre at bishan on tuesday with joyce to teach the kids tuition. i was assigned to teach P5 kiddos (was quite glad i didn't get P6 just in case i can't do their qns. hahaha.) okay so all along i tot i'll be teaching maths but turn out that my bunch of kiddos don't like to do maths and they prefer doing english. crapp.
my english level is like... CMI. haha. still rmbr i told marylinn (a girl there) that flora means vegetation and fauna meana flowers. gosh. i should just jump down and dieee la. realise my mistakes a few days after when talking to my sis. lol. shall make amendments when i came back next week. hopefully she won't rmbr that i teach her the wrong things. bleahx. maybe tuition is not for me.. >_<
then got this guy called shawn aka squid head from holy innocents primary school. he was drawing bra all over his assessment books.. sheesh. such perverted tots at such tender age! what's the world coming to!!! oh well anw, when i questioned him he said that i accused him wrongly... cos the thing he drew wasn't bra. it was car headlights. wow~ such creativity at such young age. how amazing! -.-"
but overall the kiddos quite cute and funny. then the boys very nice one leh! when i ask to borrow liquid paper, they were the first one to dig thru their pencil box and lend me their liquid paper. so sweet la!! you don't see that happening in JC guys. they're not as helpful... sigh. esp kuakua. haha. =P
then went for aviva cip today. was doing information counter job. quite cool leh the cip! got allowance of $10 per day some more! haha. love this kind of cip. anw, i think the event was quite a flop cos got a lot of unsure things, like when is whose match and who will playing against who at this timing, etc etc.. everything is subjected to change.. sigh.. even got this uncle who complained to me for abt 30 min abt what's wrong and how to improve them, blah blah.. well, he has a point la. people pay so much to watch this event then they all very blur. oh well. no commento.
oh and i saw susilo in person!!! haha. but was too shy to ask him to take photo with me.. boo.. regretted my decision after that.. at least take photo then got some memory of the event mah. lol. maybe i'll pluck up some courage if i happen to see him again on sat or sun. hehe. (:

wahh, this week is angklung angklung angklung....
had INTENSIVE angklung practice all the way from wed to sat 8.30 to 3.30 everyday (except for sat which ends at 1). well, glad to say that some juniors improve a lot!! hehe.. soo happy to see them blossom! although some are still not there yet... but i'm SURE they'll improve! hee.. (:
but some juniors ar.. sheesh. no effort. sigh. shall not mention names.
okie anw, on sat afternoon, realise that my right thumb is swollennn.. argh.. got this gigantic blue black and i can't even hold a pen and write properly.. boo.. >_< but it got better today. phew~ must be cos too enthu to play the bawah and the rebanas. haha.
for any juniors reading this, if your thumb got no blister/blue black or not pain at all you must reflect okay! that means you never play with all your effort.. tsk tsk.. must improve okay? i'm sure you want to play loudly and play well. jiayou!
on a brighter note, i manage to pick up 6 bawah for apachi! hooray! and since got extra angklung so now i can play the 6 bawah. yayness! lucky it's harmoc segment after apachi.. everytime after playing the song my hands will go numb. lol. wonder how joyce can cope playing so many bawahs.. o.O
so until now mugging is still at ground level. haven't excited yet. HOW?! arghhh.
anw, we (the exco) went to sun-tan all our dear angklungs and percussion instruments on sat after practice. it was a really crappppyy experience. here's what happen:
after putting all our instruments in the correct sun-tanning position, we went out for lunch at coro.
came back around 2.30 pm and realise that the main gate is closed.
smiled and asked the auntie to help us open the door.
she said no.
WTH!
she said school gate is closed at one and NO ONE is supposed to enter the school after that.
at this moment, some alumni guys wanted to get out of school and she happily opened door for them.
still can tell us that some people are still playing soccer inside.
so conclusion is it's okie to be in school even after one but you just cannot come in after one.
!!!!!
why so weird one!! sheesh.
so what are we supposed to do?!
leave all our instruments there until monday?!
what if it rains!!
she finally relented and said she can allow ONE measley person in.
so this poor one person has to keep all 200++ angklungs and like 5 percussion instruments all alone?
how ridiculous!!
arguedddd some more (spent a total of around 20 min) and giving us the face, she said 4 can go in.
what's the diff between letting 4 ppl in and 7 ppl in?!

and at around this moment, some construction workers came and wanted to enter the sch.
she happily let them in.
crap her.
so construction workers can come in but students cannot come in?
what's the world coming to!!! >_<
how can the school prefer alumni and construction workers to its own students?!
oh well. whatever la. we finally managed to come in anw. (with her screaming at us abt how it's our fault if the alarm ever rang and police came.. plus we're gonna have to pay for all these..) and she refused to help us open the gate when we're abt to leave. -.-" nvm lor, we can open ourselves. hahaha. big deal..
no wonder everyone says NJ is a lousy school! sheesh. school rules are incredibly strict and ridiculously unflexible. sigh.
