eclectic

okie this entry is kinda late but i still wanna blog abt it.. hehe..

eclectic.

there's nothing like it. the euphoria i felt on that night can never be forgotten.. the amount of hard work put in by everyone, the long practices, the lagging tutorials.. they're all worth it. =)

the concert is a success and we (and harmoc) played beautifully.. a few mistakes here and there.. but nvm la. haha. after all nobody is prefect.. heehee.. really love apachi (opening song) and wave of hope (last song). the bamboo flute is fantastic!!! guess everyone thought so too! received many excellent reviews for wave of hope. mr dzul is a GREAT composer. (:

anw, just wanna express my feelings abt some really great people.

thanks for always being there for us! you always made an effort to come down to teach and help us with new songs even when you're soo busy with your work, performances and other stuff.. you've been a truly wonderful conductor. funny, inspiring, kind and understanding. will really miss you and your jokes after this.. hope you've enjoyed our company as much as we had enjoyed yours. (:

you're a really superb teacher-in-charge!! i think it's great that you gave us (the exco) freedom to make decisions for the ensemble. thanks lots for the trust in us. like seriously.. some teachers are sooo naggy and they insist on having their ways in the cca.. but well, you're far from this! you've been a really good friend to me too! thanks for always being understanding. okie, i guess that's all i wanna say. pretty long huh? haha. i hope i didn't bore anyone to death. hee... (:

feel really sad currently.. must be having SAWS (severe angklung withdrawal symptoms).. *as quoted from joyce* sigh.. i missed our last performance as an ensemble last sunday.. boohoo..

my dad was sick and hospitalised in indo so i rushed back home after concert on fri and caught a plane back to indo on sat morning. luckily he's okay now. he's out of ICU on wed already, so i went back to singapore on thurs evening. hope he gets well soon. (:

but seriously! the amt of work and tutorials i'm lagging now is beyond what i can finish.. >_< sighh. hopefully i can be smarter so that my little brain can absorb things faster. lol. oh and i missed all the taking of photos after the concert and on sunday.. sooO saddddDDD! oh well, can't be helped i guess.. =(
