shopping spree!
oh man my feet HURT. like anything. too much shopping.. haa..
been out EVERYDAY since monday from afternoon all the wayyyy until night all around singapore. i'm such a spendthrift.. oh no.. save me! >_<
went to expo today since early morning to go to 3 warehouse sales! 1st started out with popular mega sale! the books are on sale and so cheapp tooo! it's 3 for $15!! what a bargain! i bought 6. hahaha. got A LOT of books man.. there was memoirs of a geisha too. but i didn't buy cos the font too small for my liking. lol. then the CDs (CD RAMA kind) are at 3 for $10. o.O!! you can imagine it's crowded like anything.. especially the chinese CD section. think got SHE blah blah. (i cannot read chinese words. lol.) then the queue to pay is superr longggggg ar! if i didn't buy SO much things i'll refuse to queue! =p
then next stop is the adidas warehouse sale! this one ar.. to go in even have to queue for very long man! oh and i met yijun!!!! hahaha. what a shock! this girl ar.. i think finish phy s paper then cheong to expo already! lol. and i finally bought my favourite adidas shoes!! the usual is at $119 that one. they discount until $50! to buy these shoes take A LOT of effort one ok! must wave your hand frantically to get the person's attention so that they can get your size for you. then this design no size so change design then change size blah blah. hard work! but it's all worth it! i only buy one pair though. haa. ppl there buy like 3 pairs or sth?? like free gift like that! the jerseys are super cheap too! but i don't wear jerseys. lol. the guy in front of me bought 3 or sth.
but the cashier ar.. SUPER SLOW. lucky i queue at the 'cash only' cashier (though by mistake). if you pay by visa then i think it'll take another 3 hrs to pay or sth. the guy that's abt next to me at the next cashier barely move an inch even until the moment i paid my stuff. good luck to him!
next is loreal warehouse sale! OH MAN. they sell everything so cheappppp! foundation that's usually $25 goes at 5 for $20. same goes for powder that usually costs abt $20 too. hair mask that's normally $13 goes at 3 for $20. hair dye that's usually $18 goes at 3 for $18. face wash usually abt $12 goes at 3 for $15..
wahh.. think today spent money like it drops from the sky or sth.. but all the bargains are so irresistable!!!! how to find things so cheap like this?? went home with mountains of plastic bags. almost died on the mrt though.. feet hurt, hands tired, eyes sleepy and mrt so crowded.
ohhh! and there was this indian mother and her daughter. NO MANNERS one ok! the moment this couple stood up from their seats, the mother pushed the child to SNATCH the seats! the couple can't even walk out can! think the mrt doors almost closed if they didn't cheong. then hor, the mother look at the child with such approving look, like "GOOD JOB. WELL DONE." o.O!!! what's happening to the world?? parents are teaching their children the wrong values loh.. hmph.
the kiddos at popular sale also VERY irritating one ok. so crowded already then still push push and run around. they think their house is it?? AIYO.
for those interested, the sale is still on at expo until sunday. you can go if you want. it's very worth it! (:
oh well oh well. today is such a fruitful day. haha. oh and did i mention that i bought my digi cam today too? hee.. it's canon ixus 60, 6 mega pixel. at $499. got lots of freebies! got the leather case ($29), one extra battery (abt $80) and 512 MB SD card. so worth it i think! thanks yijun for all your newspaper cut-outs and guidance! couldn't have done it without you. hehe.. (:
ok i seem to be buying EVERYTHING but my prom necessities! TSK at me! >_<
