sadness.

BOOHOO..

just been to mr dzul's multiply account and realise that i don't have any photos there! >_<

there was a video of the angklungnites preparing for concert but i'm not there.. hmm.. guess it was taken when i went out to buy the flowers. so sad! there's an empty gap between peckyan and xuesi! >_<

and looking at the suntec city photos made me feel sad too. i couldn't be there at the last performance.. it's like i don't have a proper farewell. a proper stepping down time. a proper swansong. and it makes me feel really really sad. it's like there's this heavy lead clinging on to my heart. and it's not letting go. =(

oh and i found out that many J2s (in fact i think all the female J2s) din go for the suntec performance too. -.-" it kind of irritates me that they don't wanna go for it when it's their LAST performance. when there are other people like me who really really wanna go but can't. are they that unhappy in angklung? it makes me wonder.

anw, everyone makes their own decisions. it's up to them. it's their choice. if they don't wanna make the best of whatever they had, it's their own problem. i'm gonna make decisions too. especially when it comes to writing testimonials and counting attendance. =D

revenge time~

hahaha. okie revenge time sound bad. what abt pay back time? lol. you make our lives hard. now it's time for us to make your lives hard. be prepared. (:

on a brighter note, a certain beautiful day is coming next week! friday to be exact! heehee.. can't wait. =)

eclectic

okie this entry is kinda late but i still wanna blog abt it.. hehe..

eclectic.

there's nothing like it. the euphoria i felt on that night can never be forgotten.. the amount of hard work put in by everyone, the long practices, the lagging tutorials.. they're all worth it. =)

the concert is a success and we (and harmoc) played beautifully.. a few mistakes here and there.. but nvm la. haha. after all nobody is prefect.. heehee.. really love apachi (opening song) and wave of hope (last song). the bamboo flute is fantastic!!! guess everyone thought so too! received many excellent reviews for wave of hope. mr dzul is a GREAT composer. (:

anw, just wanna express my feelings abt some really great people.

thanks for always being there for us! you always made an effort to come down to teach and help us with new songs even when you're soo busy with your work, performances and other stuff.. you've been a truly wonderful conductor. funny, inspiring, kind and understanding. will really miss you and your jokes after this.. hope you've enjoyed our company as much as we had enjoyed yours. (:

you're a really superb teacher-in-charge!! i think it's great that you gave us (the exco) freedom to make decisions for the ensemble. thanks lots for the trust in us. like seriously.. some teachers are sooo naggy and they insist on having their ways in the cca.. but well, you're far from this! you've been a really good friend to me too! thanks for always being understanding. (:

hmm.. you're obviously a winner. hahaha. i think you're a really funny and nice teacher-in-charge! couldn't have asked for a better one. you've always enlightened the tense atmosphere during practices and humoured us with your super lame comments! haha. thanks for all that. angklung wouldn't have been so enjoyable without your presence. thanks for all the help with the concert too! (: but then again.. that's cos we're in the same boat. haha. i'm really glad that we're exco together cos it gives me the chance to know the real you behind that fierce mask. you rock. =)

feel really sad currently.. must be having SAWS (severe angklung withdrawal symptoms).. *as quoted from joyce* sigh.. i missed our last performance as an ensemble last sunday.. boohoo..

my dad was sick and hospitalised in indo so i rushed back home after concert on fri and caught a plane back to indo on sat morning. luckily he's okay now. he's out of ICU on wed already, so i went back to singapore on thurs evening. hope he gets well soon. (:

but seriously! the amt of work and tutorials i'm lagging now is beyond what i can finish.. >_< sighh. hopefully i can be smarter so that my little brain can absorb things faster. lol. oh and i missed all the taking of photos after the concert and on sunday.. sooO saddddDDD! oh well, can't be helped i guess.. =(

new layout

WEE! here's a new layout to help advertise for the coming angklung & harmoc combined concert, ECLECTIC.

just a reminder: it's on 14 july, 6.30 pm at LT 5. tickets are selling quite fast (so happy!!) anyone interested to go please do approach me. (:

anw, a million thanks to cons for helping me with the layout.. my html skills is super cmi.. hee.. thanks. =)

will be going to zoo, night safari and sentosa these 2 days to accompany my relatives (uncle's family). so excited! can't wait to go underwater world and see the dewgong! and to go cinemania also! heehee.. actually really wanted to go to joyce's house to watch CARS (yes she has the DVD).. sigh.. but there's just NO TIME! boo.. i'll slowly wait for the DVD to come out in indo then.. lol.

these 2 weeks will be super packed with angklung practices.. hope i can survive through it.. *take a deep breath* i can totally picture just how much tutorials i'll be lagging.. oh no.. but it'll all be worth it. =D quoted from ytd's msn convo with yongbing: angklung is life.

hopefully the others feel the same way as me.. and DON'T PON any of the rehearsals pls? it'll be important as we'll be doing staging and all.. if anyone's attendance is poor.. grrr. i'll take necessary actions. and i can be very mean sometimes. lol.

it's just a few more days to our beloved concert, let's give it our best. after all, our friends will be watching us and i'm sure we don't want to disapoint them. (:

still got 30 tickets left for angklung's side. quite little actually.. so if you want more tickets, do tell me ASAP. it's 1st come 1st serve. hehe.. =D

angklung rocks

CT 2s are over!! YAYNESS! though i did super bad at chem (as usual).. but what the heck.. that shall be later problem. LOL.

went with astatine to eat at breeks after the last paper. quite nice the food!! hehe.. but quite ex la.. i ate seafood marinara. the shrimps are super delicious but the mussels taste weird.. -.-" next time i shall try the blackened cajun chicken..

anw, had angklung performance at TPJC today for the opening of the malay language centre. (:

full dress rehearsal went a bit off.. intro was wrong and the beat was too fast for the malay dancers.. >_< but i think the real thing is fantastic!!! hehe.. think we played well and the malay dancers danced SUPERBLY. =) hopefully concert will be like that too and mr dzul will be proud of us!!

it was soo funn today! other than the part where my nice cheeky exco girls keep bullying me.. hmph. so mean. -.-" oh well. but since they did me a favour at the end of the day.. i shall forgive them. haha. (:

and NO MORE mention of this matter okay! -_________-"

oh oh and eric taught us this funny game that we currently called the official angklung game. LOL. goggles up.. whoots~

hmm, i so enjoy myself today that sometimes i think stepping down will make me sad.. but on the other hand i can't wait to step down also.. haha. can't take it already.. must really concentrate on studies.. i don't want to get ugly results for A levels.. =(

oh well, mixed feelings. normal i guess.. i shall move on.

england vs portugal now. and england WILL win. regardless of what eric said. ha.
